INFORMATION
When you visit our website, we process data about your behaviour on the website, which includes information about the links you click on, the way you move around our website, and also data about the device from which you view our website, such as the IP address and the location derived from it, the identification of the device, its technical parameters such as the operating system and its version, the screen resolution, the browser used and its version, as well as data obtained from cookies. You can read more about cookies in this document.
A. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files of letters and numbers that we store on your browser or on your computer, mobile phone, or another device from which you browse our website. We also use pixel tags (web beacons), which are small images that function similarly to cookies. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on your computer's hard drive, pixel tags are a fixed part of our website. For simplicity, we will refer to all of these technologies as cookies throughout this document.
You can either accept all cookies or only use essential cookies on our website. Given that essential cookies are essential for the functioning of our website, you cannot refuse them, and they are permanently enabled. You can adjust your cookie settings at any time in the cookie banner:
A cookie banner appears on your screen automatically every 30 days. If you want to change your setting immediately, please refer to chapter “E. How can you exercise your rights?” of this Cookie Policy.
B. What cookies do we use, and what are they for?
We use different types of cookies on our website, some of which are placed on your device by our website or used directly by us, and others are set by third-party tools we use. We use these cookies for different purposes. Some of them we may use without your consent, others only with it.
ESSENTIAL COOKIES
These cookies ensure that our website works properly, so you can contact us via the online form or switch between website pages. Such cookies are essential to the functioning of our website and, therefore, cannot be disabled. Our webpage is hosted on Squarespace, and we use the following necessary cookies on our website:
ANALYTICS AND PERFORMANCE COOKIES
Analytics and performance cookies are used on this website only when you click “Accept All” on our cookie banner. This website uses analytics and performance cookies to view traffic, activity, and other data. In connection with analytical cookies, we use third-party tools whose operators also receive this data.
Squarespace
Squarespace is a website building and hosting service, and we also use it for hosting and analytical, and performance purposes. This allows us to analyze the use of our website and applications and optimize them for better performance and user experience. Therefore, we use the following cookies, which allow us to analyze the behaviour of visitors to our website and generate statistics based on the data obtained:
C. What other data do we collect, and who do we involve in the processing?
When you submit information to this website via web form, we collect the data requested in the web form to track and respond to your submissions. We share this information with Squarespace, our online store hosting provider, so that they can provide website services to us.
We transfer the personal data collected through cookies to the operators of the above-mentioned third-party tools. Sometimes, personal data may also be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area. These countries may have different data protection laws and standards. However, all such transfers only occur based on standard contractual clauses that the recipient in the third country has agreed to comply with, in addition to other measures.
D. What rights do you have in the subsequent processing of personal data?
As mentioned, cookies are used to collect data about your behaviour on the website, which is then processed by us or by the operators of the above-mentioned third-party tools. You can exercise the following rights in connection with this processing of personal data.
Right, to withdraw consent.
You can withdraw your consent to processing personal data at any time. However, the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Right of access
As part of the right of access, you have the right to obtain information about what data we process about you, for what purpose, for how long, where we get your personal data, to whom we transfer it, who processes it except us and what other rights you have about the processing of your data.
Right to rectification
If you find out that the personal data we process about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected or completed without undue delay.
Right to erasure
In some cases, you have the right to have us delete your personal data. We will delete your personal data without undue delay if your consent has been withdrawn or processed unlawfully or if it must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation.
Right to restriction of processing
In some cases, in addition to the right to erasure, you can exercise the right to restrict the processing of personal data. This right allows you, in some instances, to request your personal data to be marked and not be subject to any further processing operations - in this case, however, not forever (as in the case of the right to erasure), but for a limited period.
Right to portability
You have the right to obtain from us all your personal data that you have provided to us and that we process automatically based on your consent and for the performance of the contract. We will deliver your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
Right to object to processing.
You can object to processing your personal data based on your legitimate interest. In such a case, we will not process your personal data further for that purpose unless we have compelling legitimate grounds for continuing such processing.
Right to complain.
You have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection if you believe processing your personal data violates data protection regulations.
E. How can you exercise your rights?
You can then exercise your rights to process personal data (for example, data you entered in the contact form) by emailing dpo@datasapiens.co.uk. We will process your request immediately but within one month at most. In exceptional cases, in particular, due to the complexity of your request, we are entitled to extend this period by an additional two months. We will, of course, inform you of any such extension and the reasons for it.
You can adjust your cookie settings in the cookie banner or at any time by clicking on the “Cookie Preferences” button in the bottom left corner of the page.
Note: You can allow “Performance and Analytics” and “Advertising” separately in the “Cookie Preferences” dialogue window, but we don’t use any advertising cookies. Therefore, the “Advertising” toggle has no effect - it is a part of the templated solution.
